I know the world isn't perfect and there will always be problems but one thing I just cant take is when people judge.There are all these stereotypes people have about others when they don't even no them.I know a lot of stereotypes people have for Mexicans just because we're Mexican.One stereotype I know a lot of people think about us is that we're criminals.They think that if one Mexican is on the news because he robbed something then people think that's how we all are. Especially lately with the whole immigration thing and the HR4437 law that got passed. A lot of people also think that we're stupid.This is a big one that I just cant stand and it gets me so mad people are so stupid and think this about us.They think the only thing we're good for is to clean and work and do things like that that other people are to lazy to do.They can think that all they want I'm not going to be ashamed of being a hard worker and taking pride in what I do.I know a lot of people that have been judged because they were Mexican and they were told that the only reason Mexicans come to this country is to work the jobs no one else wants,to drop out of school, and to become a parent as a teen. This makes me so mad how messed up people can be and how they discriminate. I couldn't even believe someone would say this to someone else but it happened. Also have you ever noticed that there is always a story about how a Latino did something wrong on the news? Like how one broke into a store or stole a car and other things like that. I'm not saying that there isn't any Latino criminals and that all people that aren't Latino are racist but to see that even the news attacks Latinos just makes my heart drop.People hate us so much just because we are brown. There are a lot of stories out there about hate crimes against Mexicans and that just gets me more pumped to try to do something to stop all the hate. One story that just made me very sad was a story about how a 16 year old Chicano was attacked by two white boys because he was Latino.Another story I heard was about racist cops.This is one of the saddest stories because what could these people do when they're getting attacked by the only people that can really help them.I am so sad that there is people like this out in the world but there is and there always will be unless people start opening their eyes and realizing that racism is a very big problem that we need to stop soon.

I like how the Decription of your text it tells me what i want to know so far about this issue. I thought that your "We Are Americans" was not getting to the point on how it leads to the hate twards mexicans. I think you should also check your grammer fragment issues.
You have a few grammr errors but everything else is good. Your message is ture, but i think no matter what there will be streotypes for all races, thats just the way life is.

You really write from your heart and I admire this in your blog. Racism is wrong and we so often ignore how it continues to rear its ugly head in our society. Nice job for calling it what it is and making others aware of bias towards Hispanics. :)
